Cbanker: Too early to discuss non-standard monetary policies

MOSCOW, Oct 12 (PRIME) -- Discussing non-standard monetary policies in Russia is too early, Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank Alexei Zabotkin said at a meeting with a State Duma's committee on Monday.

"Conversations about non-standard measures of monetary policy are surely premature, most of all because we still have room for standard monetary policies based on management of the key rate and through it the money market rates and through the money market rates the entire interest rate structure of the economy," Zabotkin said.

He said that the countries with non-standard measures either have a zero key rate, or a serious misbalance of the economy.
